Jennifer Hall, Ph.D.
Dr. Jennifer Hall is an executive coach, leadership trainer and author. She partners with Key Associates in facilitating the Key Women’s Leadership Forum and on team development and coaching projects.
After spending her first few years out of grad school as a professor of psychology at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Jen was given the opportunity to launch an executive coaching line of business for Eckerd’s Leadership Development Institute (LDI), a Network Associate of the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). In her 15 years at LDI, Jen selected and trained approximately 40 executive coaches, served as a member of the core leadership team, and instructed in open-enrollment and customized leadership development programs. Jen also spent a year in a similar role—as Coaching Talent Manager—at the Colorado Springs campus of CCL.
Jen has worked with executives from all over the world and from organizations representing such diverse industries as consumer packaged goods, entertainment, financial services, hospitality, information technology, membership services, and telecommunications. Jen is certified and experienced in a wide variety of assessment instruments, and is herself the co-author of two. The Entrepreneurial Mindset Profile® (EMP) displays a participant’s scores on 14 scales that have been found to distinguish business owners from corporate managers; the Coaching Mindset Index® (CMI), available in both self-report and 360-degree formats, enables leaders and organizations not only to understand and enhance the strategies they use to grow and develop their individual employees, but also to build and sustain a strong organizational coaching culture.
Jen enjoys partnering with leaders to help them fully appreciate and leverage their strengths, minimize the impact of their weaknesses, and develop the kind of deep insight which allows them to make intentional choices in line with their beliefs, values and most cherished personal and professional goals. Jen’s coaching sessions are typically characterized by intellectual discovery, humor, and a focus on action.
A licensed psychologist and Board Certified Coach, Jen holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Connecticut and a B.S. degree from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. She lives with her husband and two children in North Carolina.
